Improving pain support

Have you had an injury in the last two years?

Have you had surgery in the last two years?

Have you experienced an episode of back pain recently?

Do you live anywhere in eastern Melbourne?

We want to hear from you.

We are trying to improve the ‘pain recovery’ experience for people and invite you to share your experience.

As part of efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community, Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) is trying to improve people’s experience of recovering from pain after injury or surgery or pack pain. We want to identify ways to improve the ‘pain recovery’ journey.

We would like to hear from community members to know what could be improved.

  • What worked well for you to manage pain while you were trying to recover in the first 3 months?
  • What didn’t work so well?
  • How could the support from health care providers be improved to help you recover from the pain?

If you prefer to share your experience with us by phone or zoom:

Type PAIN and your name or call: 0418 595 781 and we will contact you to set up a time for a brief (10-15 minutes) telephone/zoom chat.

If you prefer to answer some survey questions: go to Survey for patients.

If you prefer to email us your story: write to jo@larter.com.au.

We are collecting feedback until 18 March 2021.

Your information will be used to better support health professionals to help people recover from pain.
